The power of nur kasih the movie

Ok...masih lagi dalam kehangatan filem nur kasih. To those who still not watching, dun be surprised if you see the cinema is full of malays, mainly women, kids n makcik makcik.haha.

Bukan apa tau..ni la first time i tengok setiap masa penuh dgn orang esp aunty2 or even nenek2. Fenomena sungguh!

Hmm..today is sunday. Planning nak tgk pirates of the carribean coz yesterday tak sempat nak marathon 2 movies. Hahah. Mylocx is soo banyak songeh when i asked him to watch nur kasih. Especially when there's a movie he soo wanna watch. Which is POTC of course. U know what he said regarding all these? Muka legend hati pun legend. Ahh sangat tak boleh blah. But still, he bought me the ticket.;-) thanx dear..

Orait peeps.. Go n watch it now..such a beautiful movie. Love it with all my heart. Take note the coversation between adam n the uztaz. Walaupun sekejap je babak tu, tp membuatkan kita tak habes2 berfikir.

Yeay da tengok nur kasih!

Haa...amekkau!

Tiga empat kali nangis dlm cinema. Eii...dahla muka cute, hati pun cute.wahahaha...

Well, that movie is superb ! What more can i say babe.. Ok serius cinema kat OU tu macam pasar malam. Ramai giler orang...yg mostly malay n mak cik mak cik. Apa lagi..sumer dok perabis tiket nur kasih la sampai we all dpt seat 3rd row je. Selling fast je semua. Pirates of the carribean pun sama. Selling fast sampai malam tuh.

Tak pe tak pe next trip baru tgk pirate. Yang penting puas hati sgt tengok nur kasih. Hehe.

Haa tu gamba i buat2 main hp la kunun sambil testing my new sunglasses. Dahlah test kat nando's.poyo betul.hahah... Thnx darling belanja ray ban sebijik! Alah...tgh sale kan..besides, tak tahan dah mata ni drive tgh hari buta ngan panas terik tu. Kang mata ni dah berkedut2 n rosak kena UV light sape yg susah. U dengan i jugak yang susah..kannn?haha.

Nur Kasih The Movie. Reviewed by someone who had watched the final cut of the movie!!

Forget previous proclamations made by other local films, THIS is the most anticipated movie of the year in this part of the world. I mean, the Nur Kasih TV series sparked a phenomenon a couple of years ago when it was aired on TV3, attracting over 19 million viewers and changing perceptions about local shows along the way.

The show’s stars, especially leading lady Tiz Zaqyah, shot into superstardom almost over night and Nur Kasih has remained on the lips and consciousness of the general public long after the last episode was screened. The catch-up videos on tv3.com.my meanwhile, notched up more than 64 million views. Yes, 64 MILLION VIEWS. Kapow!

So now, about the movie.
The hardcore fans have even warned me about revealing too many plot details (“tak syok lah kalau dah tau”, they say), and so, this “review” will reveal just enough stuff without threatening to spoil your viewing pleasure.

And oh yeah, I’m not one of those hardcore fans that could remember every single scene and dialogue from the TV series (like I know every single thing about “Ali Setan”, for example). But I know enough lah. Haha.

So the movie is in fact a continuation of the series that basically featured the conflicts of a love-triangle of sorts between Nur Amina (Tiz Zakyah), and brothers Aidil (Fizz Fairuz) and Adam (Remy Ishak). We know that Adam married Nur due to his father’s dying wish although the pious Aidil clearly had feelings for her.

The loutish Adam went on to treat Nur like sh** but after he finally repented, their marriage came under threat when he went missing and presumed dead in a foreign land. But of course, he was still alive (though not exactly “kicking”) all along, and by the final episode, we saw him returning home to Nur (yay!), and everyone lived happily ever after.
Or did they?

Apart from a train crashing in a middle eastern country, the first five minutes of the film also reveals a very important plot point, i.e.: Aidil has lost his wife Aliya (Ayu Raudhah). (This is SIX YEARS after we last saw them in the series, btw). The reason for her demise is not immediately revealed but Aidil is now suffering in the depths of despair and it is my prediction that the crying will already start in the cinemas within these first few minutes. So, crank out the tissue boxes early, yeah?

Also, at this point, I bet the women in the theatres will be going: “I’ll marry him! I’ll marry him! Tak kiralah dia single father, janji macho dan beriman, ok?” Hehe.

Meanwhile, Adam and Nur are leading a rather good life, although still childless. Their spare time is spent at a shelter for troubled kids, including one (Sara Ali) who obviously has the hots for Adam. And when Nur receives confirmation from the doctor that she’s finally pregnant, the couple feels like they’re on top of the world.

Like I said, I won’t spoil it too much for you lot, so I’m skipping one important plot point and just tell you that Adam and Nur would later wind up in Jordan for some R&R. It is there that we see what really happened to that train and the consequences of it.

Back in KL, Aidil is still bergelumang dengan kesedihan, and you would really feel for him, especially when the kids (one of whom is played by the super adorable Mia Sara) make awkward statements about their late mom. But the fighter that he is, Aidil soldiers on and even helps to look after the shelter for troubled kids in the absence of Adam and Nur.

Again, I won’t be giving away big spoilers, but just to say that both Adam and Aidil will be put through life-threatening situations. Who will die? Who will survive? Ah, kena tengok lah, ok?

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the film. The actors have such great chemistry between them that even the corniest of lines or scenes seem natural and never out of place. And this film DOES have some retweet-worthy lines that will also no doubt be on the FB status updates of its legion of fans.

Directed by Kabir Bhatia, there’s also no doubt that this is one absolutely gorgeous film. And while the top-notch cinematography was only previously enjoyed on the small screen, seeing it on the silver screen is a different experience altogether. The scenes in Jordan especially, look stunning and soothing all at once and the sweeping paddy fields back in Malaysia will also take your breath away.

I also like the original music, expertly done by Hafiz Hamidun. The dramatic scenes greatly benefit from the soaring score and it lends a certain “bigness” to the film. And who would have thought that a local epic love story like this would have some memorable action scenes as well?

A minor disappointment is in the CGI department (yes, there’s actual special effects!) that looks, well, not as impressive as the rest of the film. And yes, those who’ve never seen the TV series at all, might have some questions about the plot earlier on, but everything is tied up nicely at the end; so no big worries there.

It's a pretty darn good movie!

Hi..

Semalam i pi tengok movie SOURCE CODE with mylocx. Frankly said...terbaiklah...type2 yg lu pikirla sendiri ala2 movie INCEPTION tu haa.

As usual after tengok memang dok debating tak habis2 with mylocx. The funny part was..kitorang duduk lain row dlm cinema coz tak nak duduk fron seat. Ada la 2 or 3 lagi yg kosong bhgn tengah tapi bukan sebelah2 n bukan same row. I suggested amik je..sbb kalau x mylocx nak amik second row.

Kitorang memang nak tengok show time petang je...sbb nak balik a.s.a.p...sian kat sofea. Because of that limited time, kami pun belasah je duk lain2 row. Coz nak tengok cite lain mmg not our liking. Besides, mylocx dalama tunggu Source Code ni.

Hmm next watch will be Thor n Water for Elephants. N Nur Kasih perhaps..

Black Swan movie

Ok..seriously best cte tu. I persuaded mylocx n he agreed so kitorang tgk kat klcc yesterday.4.30pm.

Dahlama xtgk cte2 yg memang berkualiti. Serious disturbing n psycho ok. I memang salute sama itu Natalie Portman. Best actress ever.haha.

Btw, I dah start keje today after 1 week holiday. Am soo soo low motivated nak pi keje.huhu. Really hate this feeling. Tired, bored, less energetic, senang cte not in the mood lgsg. Konon2 semalam tu tgk black swan bleh boosting my mood nak pi keje arini. Tapi hampeh je. Xde effect lgsg. Haha.

So now, here I am..in the school canteen typing via blogaway after having lunch. Sooo wanna go home. Haha.

Kick-ass ::happy new year::

Ok..long time no entry. I really wanna blog. Well, i was so ill the last few days. Not sure why lately senang sangat nak demam. I xgi doctor pun. Just a few panadols. But my temperature was high. 39 degree C. Today i feel a lot better. Thankfully sofea tak berjangkit ngan i this time coz i restrict her from drinking my breastmilk. Normally kalau dia minum time i was burning hot camtu, the fever sets in.

So..happy new year to all readers. I wasn't going anywhere on new year's night. But as usual, i watched the fireworks from my window with mylocx. Romantikus aihh?? No, not in that sense. We're not watcing it like the a bunch of in-love teenagers. He captured video using his dslr camera, while i captured using my hp. That's all. Then, after bringing sofea to sleep in our room, we watched dvd together. What? Love story? Oh no no...he's not into that. Guess what? We're watching Kick-ass instead. Apekebendenye tuh? It's action movie. Very nice i would say n agak ganas. N i laughed most of the time watching it. Hilarious ok. But it's just not my thing. That's all my review. Hahaha. I 've been hoping to watch romantic comedy or romance movie with mylocx but guess it's just not gonna happen. Well, adala dulu2 tapi leh kira ngan jari ok. Kan best kalau tengok sama2 movie The Notebook ke kan, P/s I love You ke kan..haha. Maybe he feels like vomiting tengok cite2 camtu but y dun give his wife a treat once in a while rite? Ops okla, baruje tengok Twilight series (my pick!) but mostly tengok yang ikut taste dia je. I still have the feminine side in me ok..=p

I feel anxious. Tomorrow da start school session for 2011. I feel quite excited coz i dah dapat ajar science. Looking at the topis which i've to teach... ahh! Peace in mind. Coz u know. That's exactly my thing. Senses, world around us, food, body, environment, y this n y that..etc etc etc. But at the same time, i'm nervous. Fresh teachers sokmo camni kot? Tak hilang2 nervous tu kalau awal tahun ok. Its killing me. Huh. Wish me luck then.

The Social Network n Facebook

U just gotta see this movie. Oh it's freaking awesome!

Well, as one of the facebook users, i certainly wanna watch The Social Network movie, a story of founder of the famous facebook. [Based on true story n adapted from a book - The Accidental Billionaire] Me n mylocx got a habit bila nak tengok wayang kami akan search and see the review. [yahoo and imdb] As parents, masa untuk menonton wayang agak terhad, so lebih mudah kalau buat research sikit tentang movie2 yang hangat di pasaran. Hehe.
So turns out that The Social Network caught the most of our attention.

The inventor of Facebook ni tersangatla muda. A computer programmer who studied in Harvard U. And now, he's the youngest billionaires in the world. 500 millions users. Wow! Such a phenomenal. Such a genius Mark Zuckerberg is. I memang kagum dengan orang yang genius2 ni..
n making me think, how do they become genius? A lot of factors contributing to that i guess.. n i'm curious about it. I wanna know why.n how?...never mind. Talk bout this later.

Back to the story..i rasa macam nak tengok for the second time je. haha. coz it's fast-paced and entertaining at the same time. n i see computer nerds in quite a different way now after watching the movie. i think they're super cool =)

INCEPTION - A must see movie

wow! that's just the word. Christopher Nolan memang rocks!

This movie will be confusing for some. Kalo tak minat citer heavy2 & full of complexity then this movie is not for you. Hehe.I tak mau bagi spoiler kat sini.Kalo nak tau sinopsis google sendiri kay=)

It's one of those films where you must pay attention to every word spoken or you might miss some key plot points.

Story is well-written, casts are well-picked, scenes are well-edited and the whole movie is well-directed.

Senang citer, i just loved it! I think 2nd time watching mesti lagi best.

But i think seeing it twice pun still doesn't answer all the riddles. Punyela complicated. Haha.

Mylocx and i sampai esok2nye pun still debating and trying to make our own perceptions. It's the dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream. Seriously like the coolest dream ever.

It's like a brain game, except that you don't play it;it plays you.

I was at the edge of my seat for two and a half hours.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT get up during the movie!

Soak in every moment of it because it really is a masterpiece.

It may or may not be a hit, but it is certainly a caviar for film lovers like US ~

New haircut =)

Yes i was having new haircut yesterday.

The result = awesome! Jadi cam amoi plak rasa. Haha.

Mylocx pun having new haircut jugak. Credit to APT Professional Team.

We went to APT kat branch Pandan Indah.

We picked the package of wash+cut+treatment. RM88.00. So times 2 la. Frankly, i'm very satisfied.

We picked senior service (3 years of experience). Nak pilih professional macam mahal sgt plak. So awal2 dah reject option tuh. hehe.

But mylocx is not totally satisfied. Sebab dia kata cuci tu ala2 sempoi sangat.

Tang cut tu je dia puas hati. Haha. Coz yang cut hair dia senior hairstylist. So dia fokus pada hairstyling je la kot kan. Cuci2 ni besenye junior / washer yg memang keje dia cuci je....=p

Time tu tak de junior kot nak cucikan rambut. Semua occupied. But my case was different. Junior yg cucikan. Memang best. Hehe.

I can say the service is good. Siap serve teh herba lagi pada customer. Hehe. We also bought Modish shampoo. Fuh berkali ganda mahal dari shampoo supermarket. Saja nak try.

Then we went to Jusco Cheras Selatan. Saja cari2 barang & tengok movie.

The plan = tengok Predator. Tapi showing time tak de yg sesuai. (Sian kat sofea kalo balik lambat2).

So we bought two tickets for Despicable Me. Hmm not bad. A cute movie la. Citer kartun 3D ni bese la kan cute2. You can google if you wish to know more about the movie. Haha.

Kalau ada masa nanti memang plan nak tengok Predator & Eclipse. Memang la movie dah basi tapi atleast tgk la jugak. Hahaha.

Balik umah pun dah lewat petang.

Balik2 je bibik kata i nampak macam budak belasan with my new haircut. Kihkih.

Tula the hairstylists tu pun kata i looked young. Depa dok ingat i ngn mylocx ni kawan/couple yg belum kawin but live together. Apekah?

Sebaik mylocx cakap i'm his wife. haha.

Rindu sgt kat si manja mommy tu. Excited x hengat tgk mommy daddy balik. We bought her some books & learning chart.

harry potter

yahuuu!!!!!!!!!

guess what? mylocx dah reserve 2 tickets to watch the movie tomorrow night. kat Berjaya Times Square. i tersangat2la happy nihh...dapatla hilangkan stress di tempat kerja tu.

actually i da ckp lama dah kat mylocx. nnt harry potter keluar 16th july kalau boleh nak tengok that day jugak..hihi.xmaula jadi cam transformers..da pegi2 tapi ticket sume sold out the first week tuh. besides, i'm really a big fan of harry potter series. kipas-susah-mati okehh!

i mmg da complete and baca all the books. xyah cakapla kegilaan terhadap buku-buku itu dulu. mengalahkan kanak-kanak. sampai mimpi2 pun ada.wahaha. so even i da tau citer die, tetaplah nak jadi one of the first to watch the movie pulak kan. draco malfoy makin hemsem la plak dlm half blood prince nih...haha. tapi harry's still my hero..besides dumbledore.hehe.

oh dah2la tu..bukan nak cite pasal harry potter...i think most people pun dah tau storyline nye kan. jom2 kite sama2terjah cinema nanti.

oh ye..tomorrow ade monthly check-up. ntah2 kena injection utk prevent tetanus tu lagi..
last month dah kena..sakit tol die cucuk..ganas.haha. lenguh 3 hari ok. nurse kata kena inject 2 times. lagi skali tu dlm 3rd trimester. huhu.

plus takut plak kena minum air gula..membe kate xbest gile test tu..nak tau kite ada potensi diabetic ke tak. mmbe i kena minum awal2 preggy lagi coz berat naik mendadak. hmm aritu i timbang berat kat stor sukan *ahaha stor sukan*..berat dah dekat2 48kg. last month 45. xbestnye kalo kena minum air gula tu. tapi kalo terpaksa nak wat cane kan.huhu.

ok la..getting ready to work~
